

HNC Membership Policy

1. Overview
This policy outlines the terms and conditions of all Hard Network Connections (HNC) membership levels: Free Access Pass, Monthly Membership, and Annual Membership. By becoming a member of HNC, you agree to the terms set out in this Membership Policy, as well as HNC’s general Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Code of Conduct. HNC reserves the right to update or amend these policies at any time, with notice provided to active members via email or website update.
2. Membership Types & Benefits
Benefits are non-transferable and subject to availability.
3. Eligibility
Membership is open to individuals aged 16 and above who seek professional development, networking, or business support. HNC reserves the right to refuse membership where misuse, misrepresentation, or abuse of services is suspected.
4. Sign-Up & Payment Terms
Free Access Pass:

Requires a sign-up form submission.

Valid for one-time access and/or limited duration (30 days max).

No payment details required.
Monthly & Annual Memberships:

Paid through Wix Pricing Plans via Stripe, Wix Payments, or PayPal.

Auto-renewed unless cancelled by the member.

Members must ensure valid payment methods are maintained.
5. Cancellation & Refunds

Free Access Pass: Not applicable.

Monthly Membership: Can be cancelled anytime via the account dashboard. No partial refunds are issued.

Annual Membership: Can be cancelled anytime. Refunds are not issued unless required by law (e.g. within 14-day cooling-off period under UK Consumer Rights).
All cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
6. Upgrades & Downgrades

You may upgrade from Free to Paid, or Monthly to Annual at any time.

Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period.

No refunds are issued for remaining time in the current period when downgrading.
7. Use of Benefits

Member benefits may not be shared or transferred to others.

Any abuse of services (e.g. repeated misuse of CV support, booking workshops without attending) may result in suspension or termination.

Workshops and services must be booked in advance, subject to availability.
8. Code of Conduct
All members must behave respectfully at all events, whether online or in-person. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour will result in immediate review and potential termination of membership.
9. Privacy & Data Protection
We respect your privacy. All personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR regulations. We will not sell or share your data without your consent.
10. Termination of Membership
HNC reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership, with or without refund, where:

Terms of this policy are violated

Member misuses or abuses services

Member engages in unethical or harmful behaviour toward HNC staff or community members
11. Amendments
We may revise this policy periodically. Members will be notified of significant changes and continued membership constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
